MuttSchool was established in 2009 in Manhattan, KS as a positive-reinforcement dog training business by Nadja Perry, CPDT-KSA, CDBC, CBATI. Staffed by Nadja, Kristin Myzie, DVM, CPDT-KA and a few training interns, MuttSchool was a provider of group classes, held at the Riley County Senior Center Mary Borden room, behavior modification and private in-home lessons. Under Nadja’s expert management, MuttSchool grew and made a name for itself as the premier dog training business in the Manhattan, KS area.
In 2014, Nadja hired Mary Hager, a recent transplant from the Seattle area. At the end of the year, Nadja moved to Colorado and Kristin moved to the east coast. Nadja sold the Kansas business to Mary but continues with MuttSchool Colorado and Kristin has MuttSchool Virginia. Mary reopened MuttSchool-KS, LLC as a limited liability corporation under the name of MuttSchool-KS, LLC in June of 2015.
In November 2017, MuttSchool-KS, LLC moved into their current facility at 4912 Skyway Drive, Manhattan, KS and added additional dog training services including Day Training and Recess to better serve our customers.
